"Vespertine is excellent too. It's the last Bjork album I ever truly enjoyed"

I get a kick out of various parts of her discog post-Vesp (all the way up to and inc. Vulincura) but Bjork was undoubtedly at her peak during the Post-Homo-Vesp trifecta and it's really not close. I understand why a lot of people's interest starts to wane after this era, lol

Yeah mine did.

I had a Sugarcubes album on tape, copied, thought it was alright.

Debut came out. I loved it. Unbelievably refreshing and different at the time.

Post - Loved it

This - Loved it.

What was that? A 5yr period of time where Bjork was very necessary than it just became very tiresome.

Meant nothing to me at the time.

Means nothing to me now.

She’s a good egg though, strangely listenable but still luxury wallpaper all said and done.

VULNICURA is at least in the same stratosphere as this era's stuff (I actually prefer it to POST, by a fair margin) but HOMO/VESP reign supreme.

Swan Lake is one of her best songs, but no way does it compare to POST overall

BIOFEELA is > VULINCURA too

a fair bit of nonsense on MEDULLA / VOLTA but also some golden cuts

the magic was still hiding underneath all the whimsical lack of focus

UTOPIA was the first time I really struggled to wholly enjoy any part of an LP. FOSSORA was a mess but I should revisit

It is an old habit I picked up from early-internet movie forums. This was before most sites had rich text formatting and so all caps were used to discern movie titles from the rest of the text easily.

Even now that bold/italics are available, still saves time. I figure if it saves me at least a third of a second each time I type an album or movie title (versus bolding it or italicizing it instead), I will have saved myself a solid six or seven minutes over the course of my life. Pretty neat.
