First three albums for sure, Good News is pretty good but I never fell in love with it
This one, on the other hand, I can't go a week without

When I eventually get around to it I’ll probalby give it a 2 after one listen, cause an uproar in the thread, then change it to a 5 four listens later.

Well, I probably am a hipster if I'm being honest.
But realistically my view on hype is generally that, if it's in a style that I'm predisposed to like, and it's overwhelmingly praised (like this band's first few albums are) then I'm almost guaranteed to love it. There are of course exceptions. The hard part in fact often is not judging too harshly at first - it's hard to get a fair reading on an album if you expect every second of it to be immediately astounding. The benefit is that usually the hype keeps me coming back enough that the album usually then reveals itself to me when otherwise I might have just give it up after a few tries.

Been listening to this on repeat since Monday. I'm late to the party and quite baffled by this. It's simultaneously one of the most abrasive indie rock albums I've ever heard and one of the most listenable indie rock albums I've ever heard. I can't put it down. It's constantly changing, never standing still, evolving.

Take a shot anytime you hear "Well" in a Modest Mouse song
This is probably a 4.5 at this point, haven't listened to this or Drive in a while
