I started with this mainly because the opening track sold me five seconds in. Gotta listen to their other stuff when I can.

OLG is the best starting point, juturna is a grower and not a shower

I disagree. I started on Juturna and have been sold ever since. Juturna brings the soft mandingo

't/t outro is repetitive in a good way, i disagree with the reviewer. shit's vibey'

It's lame. Rides out for so long and does nothing for the track other than add to it's length.

i mean that part has the most important lyrics of the song and the different vocalizations switch up the sound a bit. idk i don't have a problem with it just cuz it's ~5 minutes of that same riff or whatever.

Ruins the song for me. I kind of liked it a bit the first time I heard it, but I have no desire to hear that same riff over and over and over.

I'm hoping the new album is at least as good as this.

yeah the new single was solid but didn't grab me on one listen. i'm confident in them though. their weakest for me is violent waves and that is still pretty solid.

I'm the weird guy that thinks Blue Sky Noise is about on the same level as Violent Waves, but really I just think Juturna and On Letting Go are much better than their other offerings.

ANOTHER new song and it was incredible. Probably their most accomplished track out of those on the aggressive side.

They're nothing TOO special but yea they're definitely consistent. Nesting Dolls and Schema are hard jams off this.

Also, the drummer really stepped up his game on the new album.

Agreed. There's some really cool odd meter stuff that flows so well it doesn't call attention to itself, which is awesome.

There are some beautiful vocal moments too, that super smooth, REALLY high falsetto that he hasn't used like this before, I love it.

The final three tracks on The Amulet are perfect.
