Yeah but the style is an inherently more creative and interesting style than the modern death metal they were playing before. So to say this is average for this style kinds implies it's better than what they were doing previously

Yeah with the doom and prog influences this kinda stands on its own, if there is just a massive underground wave of bands like this that I had no idea existed then I need to get behind that pronto
