Had to revise my rating from 4 to 4.5 after 20+ listens. Whole album is insane. Bass is there for who wants to listen, as are the vocals, big improvement there actually.

This album hasn't impacted me yet like their previous releases have. regardless, I'm happy to see the fanfare this band are getting on this release. It's a shame it took them this long to receive this level of recognition.

To me this album has more of a progressive edge than previous revocation albums, but which also remains utterly solid. Highlights would be the title track, 'labyrinth of eyes' and 'apex'.

I don't know what it is about retro modernized thrash, but I don't revisit it much. Love Sylosis and Revocation but I'm rarely in the mood for this kinda stuff, and when I am in the mood for thrash I would usually go for the classic bands anyway
