Old Morning's Dawn is my 2nd least favorite, right before Lugburz. Other than a couple tracks, it's just a very boring listen to me for whatever reason, and I usually forget I'm even listening to it.

It's actually my favorite alongside Oath Bound. Tracks like "Flammifer" are simply gorgeous.

It does have some great tracks like Flammifer, don't get me wrong, but just as a whole, it just seems pretty bland compared to their other stuff. Flammifer and the title track especially I can always listen to, and sometimes Caradhras, but the rest just bores me for some reason.

this and Sojourner are the best high-fantasy black/folk I've found. that sounds like a niche genre but there's a surprising amount of pretty boring albums in the style.

Sojourner is reminiscent of a simpler version of Caladan Brood, however that in itself is still quite incredible.

Meh, it's way less melodic imo.

Eh, I guess I'd have to re-listen. It has been some time since I last heard it.

I actually bought the CD so I'll give lots of other trys. My opinion could change. Or not. We'll see.

sojourner is about as accessible as the sound got, just as melodic but more variation and less droning sections.
