also just saw your comment about what the vocals remind you of...

and yes Bright eyes is the first that came to my mind when listening. It's like if Menzingers and Jeff Rosenstock wrote the music and then had Connor Oberst do some extra punky vocals

anyway i guess his “resentment” is justified but we’ll all move on when he puts out another record as good as Monitor, though thats a hell of a task. i rlly like Biz and Tragedy tho so im not one of those hung up fans
