well your digging their best release as far as I am concerned, I like that way better than this release, but this is great too. It is all anybody had for a while, I would rec the other first daze hear 2 or somrthing like that . The recordings arent as good but the songs hold up. also the last few releases I found cool, although they are not for everybody, more classic metal

This one holds up in the doom dep tbh...I'm digging a lot too...The only thing bringing it down tbh is that it seems to be a bit out of its time, but I like this more early Sabbath doom vibe, so that shouldn't be an issue. I'm curious about these first releases...

I prefer First daze here for most of the songs, but this is good , not as doom in my opinion, doesnt have the great sound like the early recordings, but they are still all great albums, Review your choices, Be forwarned, all good. I dig Last rites and Curious volume as well. maybe some of the best sounding albums, with some killer tunes

TKS for the input. What about the guitar tone on here be forewarned? I feel tempted to check the whole discog now. Can you define your view on Doom for me? When I go to these past bands I feel the concept changes a bit (and they are indeed one of the early ones so...). I need more listens but actually felt Daze with more guitar work, in bluesrock approach if you want (much like early Sabbath), but their sound is more fuzzy and downtuned on these first LPs. Also some tracks from Daze are actually present on these first LPs.

Bump. Just because it feels good, as usual.

The opening riff in Death Row always gets me. Incredible record.
