I kinda find it funny how he makes more moolah touring with Meshuggah than working with Scar Symmetry ie his supposedly main project

funny but not surprising in the slightest

The clean vocals are terrible and corny, but I'll be damned if the solos don't make up for it

I'll take their clean vox over Periphery's or Erra's anyday, frankly
Not as good as say, Tesseract's though.

Good question. Apparently he is busy being a dad and has no time for music anymore.

Oh, and there's been an announcement. They're prepping for their 2022 tour circuit and signed a deal with some external manager, so we might see more gigs, music videos and all that fun stuff in the near future. Kinda stoked!

I actually liked Kjellgren's solos too. Too bad they now hired Benjamin Ellis, whose style is like 90% freaking Nilsson. Having two Nilssons in one band is kinda pointless if you ask me

Second Neohuman solo might just be my favorite of all time.
Gay for Per, no homo.

Good taste, sir.
This dethroned the Deviate from the Form solo for me. Didn't expect he'd ever eclipse that.
Wish more players had that type of phrasing and use of space. Fucking tasteful.

Still waiting on Phase II...
Also why does their Wiki page make it sound like they broke up?

i was the same way, but this one is genuinely good and easily their best post-alvestam

I'm somewhat of an Alvestam fanboy and even I can admit this is top notch. Honestly, I think it was just growing pains that needed to get used to. They managed to really improve from Dark Matter Dimensions.
