Good album, just a slight disappointment coming on the heels of the genius LD 50.

Perversion of a Truth is fucking killer and the best here.

But Skrying, Trapped in the Wake of a Dream, Silenced, Not Falling and World so Cold are awesome as well. The rest is meh.

This worth checking out if I dug LD 50?

some tracks are worthwhile, but it's their step towards mainstream sounds. Trapped in a Wake of a Dream, World So Cold, and A Key to Nothing are prob the best on here

Less crazy stuff then? I loved the vocals on LD 50 so are they at least as whacked out here as on there?

less crazy for sure. they were on drugs lot of the time during LD50, so the unhinged heaviness is kinda gone and much more singing, the rhythm section is still fuckin solid. I still like moments on here, like the tracks I mentioned, then again cuz this was around me for most of my life. most of the tracks are solid, but don't go further than this on their discog.

Yeah, the drop from this-the rest of their discog is quite concerning.

Will jam later, had LD50 in constant rotation really and I love it.

Yeah I think it’s worth checking out. It’s good rather than great, like LD 50.

I always thought this was a solid album. It's a lot more focused compared to LD50, and production feels more balanced. All my friends who loved LD50 were never convinced. Trapped in the Wake of a Dream hits hard. Chad's vocal delivery and lyrics are fantastic here.

First 5 songs kick ass. The rest of the album is mediocre-trash.

I like the "hard as nails, hook that holds" line in "Trapped..."
