Quite a few listens of this, still solid. I agree the hype for this is just ridiculous (erh mah graaad dis chick iz soooo mehtuuuuuul *rolls eyes*).
Seriously though, a couple albums under her belt and she could hit on something pretty damn amazing. Groundwork is here.

I can't see myself 4ing this, but the fact that a dream popper went metal (instead of the other way around) is pretty sweet and there some decent ideas here. Ain't got shit on Black Mare, though.

If the label would just get someone to help her organize the music and make everything less clunky, then I'm sure she could be a respectable artist in the genre. This is album is just super crude, though--and not in a good bm way either.

I know it's stupid to complain about production on a bm album, but that's pretty much my main complaint with this. Not even that the production is bad I guess, the mix is just kinda way off....
Nattens Barn is such a sweet track though.
