Amnesiac has a load of B-Side quality filler for me, I mean 'Packt like sardines' is a terrible opener after Airbag and Everything in it's Right Place. It doesn't really have a standout song either tbh - maybe Pyramid Song at a push. Life in a Glasshouse is probably my least favourite Radiohead song of all time too. Hunting Bears? Average stuff. Morning Bell remix anyone? Nope. So no way a 4.



King of Limbs is so insubstantial, feels like an EP's worth of top tier songs so again no way a 4.



Then you have the opposite problem here, this is overstuffed and never builds the momentum which kills the usual magic. Too many dips in energy and quality, it's hard to focus on this in one sitting.

Ocean I really don't find anything on Amnesiac mind blowing - Pyramid Song, You and Whose Army, Knives Out and I Might Be Wrong are good but up against Paranoid Android, Let Down, No Surprises, Climbing Up the Walls or Everything in it's Right Place, Idioteque, How to Disappear, Optimistic? Not even close

Pyramid Song I always found a tiny bit too signposted in it's intentions....not cheesy but...in it's own way just as targeted or 'obvious' as 'Creep'. It's lovely sounding though don't get me wrong

'I Might Be Wrong' is loved here, it's good, it grooves. Don't know what people are getting more than that to claim it's 'best Radiohead' but sure different people can prefer different styles of song by an artist.



For me that song doesn't scream out 'Radiohead doing what Radiohead do best'

The ending of it is especially orgasmic and those lyrics haha.

Ocean - not sure IMBW would be a standout on Ok Computer, think it would fit in ok instead of Electioneering with maybe a few of the signature production tics of that album added to give it that '97 vibe
