Never let it be said that Buckcherry don't value the power of a gimmick. Embracing their role as the sleaziest survivors in hard rock, they unleashed their silliest and dirtiest record to date in 2014's Fuck EP -- a six-song blast of nastiness where every song contains the F-word in its title. Buckcherry manage to conjugate the F-word in a variety of ways -- it's a noun, a verb, an adjective -- and they also find many different sounds, too, ranging from the greasy boogie of "Somebody Fucked with Me" to the disco of "Say Fuck It" and "I Don't Give a Fuck," not to mention the neo-punk blitzkrieg of "Fist Fuck." It's all stupid, deliberately so, but it's so shameless in its vulgarity that it contains a bit of charm (but only a bit).
AllMusic never ceases to amaze me.
