One of the best Steely Dan albums. Mature song writing of a high caliber.

I just got into this group, like, two days ago. My dad had always told me they were great, but I've always been suspicious of what he likes. So here I am at 28 calling my father and telling him he was right only to learn he'd recommended them to me on the basis of he knew two songs off Aja . . .

Their best album. Every track is beautiful and tight.

I’m sure no one had said it until now. However, still reigns true.

Yeah, this album and Everything Must Go get a little too much shit. Solid records for sure

Seems to me like obviously their best. The first track alone destroys anything off Aja. It’s the closest to jazz fusion I’ve heard these guys get. Amazing composition too.

This makes me want to listen to Of Human Feelings by Ornette Coleman almost every time I put it on

Haha well he must like those types of funk-jazz orientated compositions because the general sound of both is similar

Yeah gotta admit this does not get the love it deserves, lot of salty Radiohead fans out there

I love almost everything song off this except for maybe like Cousin Dupree
