Album Rating: 4.5
This album is great, but it is not quite as good as early Helloween, Gammy Ray, and even US power metal bands like Arch-fronted Fates Warning or 1980s Queensryche.

But seriously as much as I love this, The Spectre Within, Crimson Glory (the album), and Awaken the Guardian > this.

and night on brocken :D haha

Album Rating: 4.5
Night on Brocken lacks the thrill, darkness, and overall complexity of its two successors, but I would take its title-track, "Soldier Boy," and "Damnation' over at least the majority of tracks on this.

It does. Its not a second-rate ripoff or anything like that, but Maiden is the most obvious influence. The lyrics are way more fantasy and witchcraft oriented than Maiden though.

Band is touring with Witherfall, I'm not in a rush to see SA again but I might attend for the latter.
