Monster is a refreshing electric squall.
Vibrant, eclectic with some absolute cracking tunes.
This has the tunes (a couple of the bands all time best) but it’s too long, too thrown together, too lose.

probably expecting too much from a mid 90s REM album but they shoulda cut out some of the boring rock tunes and made it looser and messier if anything
album is spotty but i have good memories driving around at night listening to e-bow in my first car
