The drum outro to the opening track gets me hard every time. It's so fucking sexy and brilliant

This is really good, but it really just sounds to me like the Chariot went in a different direction. If someone handed me this and told me it was a new record by them I would believe them.

I love this album so much. I almost feel like Norma Jean, as much as I like them, really lost their heart after Scogs left. Everything this guy touches ends up being gold, and since '68 is starting out so well, it's only gonna get better. I also like the change of pace.

Other than a few songs here and there and the loads of feedback, this isn't that Chariot-like. Then again, Scogin is credited as a writer on a few of their albums and he has also stated he wrote a lot of their songs so that may explain that

it sounds very much like the chariot to me. but i mean the chariot was scogin's project with a revolving door line up. so its to be expected. regardless i like anything he does.

surprised this album got so little love for all the Album of the Year lists. Nowhere showed this record love that I found.

This is probably tied for my AotY with Insomnium and Woods of Desolation
