The production ain't so bad. The drums sound good, and the guitar tone is pretty sweet. But yeah, the production isn't that good. However, there's a lot of great material on it. This grew off me over the years.

Hi art how are you fella ?

I am kinda surprised you rated this with a 3. I mean, all the finnish metalheads I've met in the UK praise power metal, melodic death metal and this album of metallica in particular

"In what way?"

some songs are redundant and overly long in a failed attempt to take what they did on master even further in a "progressive" direction

Ikr, but still is more uncommon to see a finnish hard rock or metal fan who doesn't praise metallica's old shit considering how many times they have been playing in your country, they even played the frayed ends of sanity in Helsinki

Hell no. It's certainly a more mature album than this one. This sounds like a polished copy-and-paste of RTL. It's great but still...

I'm observing what MoP is, and you can't deny that track-by-track, this is a polished reenactment of RTL, but I'm not totally dismissing this record. I just don't love it like others do.

Was the homophobic remark necessary? This is an enlightened age where homosexuality is slowly becoming accepted into culture. That and homos are people too. Blacks are people, mexicans are people, homos and lesbos are people, straight or bi, we're all people, and if you think skin color, race, or sexual affiliation is any good excuse to use that kind of slang or make people less equal, then you are lacking in "humanity." There's human in humanity, and those whop don't show humanity don't deserve to be human.
