this goes way harder than Radical. I've realised I start to burn out on these guys after 20ish mins and find them boring from 30 onwards, so the runtime is perfect
and the violence is perf. fucking fantastic opening combo esp
could do with a little less of the Old Light/El Dorado singalong style. doesn't suit them nearly as well

All Structures are Unstable still to this day is one of my favorite just in your face tracks they've written. Just a straight face melter

Such a violent song and that outro is just too awesome

I swear I play that song every time I just want a quick jolt of pure adrenaline or some pissed off energy. I still feel like it's probably their most straight to the point aggressive track and even comes across as a very Converge esque tune but in the best way of course.

"I swear I play that song every time I just want a quick jolt of pure adrenaline or some pissed off energy"
I feel that way about Pelican of the Desert. I can't listen to that and not feel a rush of blood to the head.

this was keith's peak vocal-wise no cap
not that his performance really declined in any way after this, he just hits a slightly higher gear here

hate to say it as a big brian fallon fan but old light doesnt really work for me. the contrast between his melody/vocal style over etid doing their thing feels super out of place imo, even if the parts are pretty good. think that and el dorado are pretty easily the weakest links here
saturnalia tho i will never understand how that was demoted to bonus track/ep status. shit tops most of this album
