I dislike the album, but this review is just bad. This is not only because it doesn't actually at any
point serve the intended purpose, but because the writer is a cunt and also starts sentences with
"and". A severe lack of evidence, often with the space for proof used to take a cheap shot at an
albeit awful artist.

Therefore I'll say this in the same spirit as this review; If I wanted a cheap shot, I would fire
another load onto your mother's face.

Get out.

I think I feel the opposite - BTD was a mess and this album is a much more mature effort (plus I think she is nothing but drive). But I can't fault the writing so I'll return the compliment.

I would fix the spelling mistakes like "prefious" - if you're going to take a shot at an artist with devoted fans, people are going to jump all over the odd mistake - especially on this site.

That may well be. Still, somehow some of the songs on BTD manage to achieve a certain timeless status, which I think no song on UV has.

um, this has only been out for a few weeks. even saying songs from born to die have achieved a timeless status would be weird; it's really not old enough to tell yet

Sometimes you just know things like that straight away. You don't have to wait for history to prove you right.

Guys, according to wikipedia, Lana was born in 1985. Call me crazy, but wasn't the original info that she was born in 1986?

Shameless bump. Guys, please check the comment thread that started with fogza's post on this very comment page. Now check this -- https://www.billboard.com/music/lana-del-rey/chart-history/billboard-200/song/730154 -- and see for yourself. Then compare with all her other releases' tenures on the Billboard.

Boy oh, boy, how right I was! And more than 3 years ago too, no less! >=)

Mille Petrozza apparently digs this girl and that just makes me curious. Should I even bother with this?
