why do people keep saying the lyrics are terrible? they are simple, straightforward, honest, and each song has its meaning or purpose.



Is it bad because it doesn't fill sentences with more complicated words that don't need to be there? or because the lyrics explain his experiences? are they bad because some of them even have a positive message?



The lyrics on this album are nothing if not sincere and powerful, and i don't understand what your priorities must be if these lyrics are bad.

Well he has more of a straight hardcore vocal style. Where as just about everything else now is either trying to be post-hardcore or metal. His vocals aren't all edited and muffled to sound more brutal than possible. His lyrics are what he feels and he doesn't try and sound all brutal and make the lyrics impossible to understand because that would defeat the purpose. His lyrics are honest and his vocals are honest and i don't get why everyone on this garbage review site seems to have a huge problem with that.

Yes, i certainly do know what i am talking about, and that i meant it when i said i just don't undertand. Honest lyrics are the only good lyrics, maybe you don't prefer a song by the way it sounds, why would you prefer to listen to a band where all of the lyrics are random metaphors and exaggerated expression that when looked at together barely make any sort of sense? I love ismfof but their lyrics are obviously garbage. if honest straightforward and personal lyrics aren't good lyrics, what are?
