@Evreaia Thanks for the info, the review has been edited accordingly. I knew that Neige was big in Amesoeurs and Alcest, so I assumed he held a similar position in Peste Noire.

not to come off as a complete knob, but it doesn't take much time to do some swift research before writing. either way I enjoyed the review so have a pos.

Yeah its a common misconception, its made a lot.

Mostly because Neige usually has a huge part in the songwriting aspect, but in case of Peste Noire its
far from.

Gonna pos now.

However, without Neige's influence, the new Lantlos record contains a very different feeling.

Not the biggest fan of Neige (besides Alcest) and I think them getting rid of him on vocals was the best thing they could have done.

As for the review itself, it doesn't tell me anything besides being basked in warmth.

surprised the reviewer didnt talk about the djent section since it seems like something worth mentioning

WHAT?

i was referring to the part on jade fields at around the 4 minute mark. i didn't really how else to describe it so i just called it djent cuz i saw someone describe it like that on rym. i thought it was worth mentioning cuz it sounds like it would've been out of place but i think it works here

it may not be djent like you say but my point is that in theory, that section wouldn't fit in a album like this so it's pretty interesting how well it works here

I disagree hard on the album starting off slow with the first track not being up to par with the rest, the first track is easily my favorite on the album.

this is what I thought that Palms project with Chino was going to sound like to be honest. still gets boring after a while; it's like a 3.5

it's not a "true djent" riff but it sounds like something that could've been played by Animals as Leaders or someone.
