"When i first submitted this review it was more of a first draft and now it feels more fleshed out"
there is a proof-reading thread on the forums you could try that, sometimes you get helpful comments

Yeah, kind of a shame many of us learn about that thread after we've done quite a share of meh reviews.

thanks for the tip menawati, I'll give it a try next time. Glad you guys are enjoying the review, I love seeing reviews of my favorite albums, it's always cool to see an album you love get written up about and get new insight on.

pretty much just as good as this

I dislike the post-punk influences of Isn't Anything (like that first track on that album is so bad to me) but most of it is pretty stellar. A good schematic of what was to come in Loveless

First track on Isn't Anything is off and oddly good imo
interesting review too, fairly detailed and honest even though the play on comparison's is a tad off imo but whatev, your writing is also.... "fuzzy" and blurs together odly but it works, pos'd

which comparison Barber? and yeah it matches the tone of the album, tried to make it a bit cryptic but at the same time
accessible, hence all the fragments in the original draft
|
| |
oh nothing just the comparison to washington and various historical figures
|

haven't listened to this in so long

loveless > you made me realise >tremolo > mbv > isn't anything
havent jammed the rest
nice review as usual man
|
| |
for it'd be: Ep's from 1988 to 1991> Loveless = mbv
not sure where to put isn't anything yet

slow, thorn and drive it all over me are three of the best songs ever for real
few bands reach the levels of creativity MBV did in the late 80s-early 90s, just incredible music. Can't wait to see the beautiful
noise doco when it comes out next month
|

isn't anything is their best imo
