Shattered his glasses? FUCK THAT. I would have been pissed....

Hopefully there won't be any drunk fucks that ruins the fun as well ;) I mean I wouldn't mind a few crowd surfers, but when it gets to the point where they annoy both the band and crowd they should just be thrown out by the guards.
I've been to a fair bit of shows and that level of douchery has only really happened twice so chances are you'll be fine. Although those two times I left the shows wanting to hunt the assholes down and beat the shit out of them.

Yeah I should be fine, the people who attend to the shows in Gothenburg usually behave themselves nicely and have a great mood.

Whoa, White Noise/Black Silence, PLUS Damage done in a row? That would be extremely epic to see live.
Not a song from The Gallery though? Meeeeh

They played it when I saw them last February but it seems for this second North America swing they changed
the setlist up. No Lethe/Punish My Heaven either.
If you're in Sweden I wouldn't worry, it seems extreme moshing/crowdsurfing is a very American thing from
what I've noticed.

Oh sweet, should be cool.
They don't tour the UK enough, same with Insomnium :[

This is the second time Insomnium has been to North America, and first time since 2007. So I feel your pain.
Thankfully DT makes frequent stops.

There was some serious moshing going on at TBDM but other than that it's pretty chill yeah.
Fun, unrelated note: Trevor (the vocalist) apologized themselves for the crowd for "stealing" all the gothenburg riffs lol.

Saw them open for Alestorm 2 years ago.

I would hope so! Moshing itself is a lot of fun when there isn't that idiotic karate shit going on. I was actually really disappointed when I went to Kvelertak and it was full of hipsters that looked at the (tiny) pit like they were somehow "above" that shit

My GF has a bunch of pics, as well, mostly from where we were and also right up front on that side. Let me know if you need anymore!

Was not aware of that tour.

what the hell kinda of tour was that, lmao

I think they were both opening for a bigger band (Epica maybe?) but since our city is smallish and doesn't have a huge metal scene we'll get these shows sometimes where the supporting bands come alone while the headliner is on a break

yeah ive seen those kind of shows. just kind of weird at first thinking about alestorm headlining over insomnium but i guess alestorm is more popular
