“I'll need to get tickets too, although I'm not too well acquainted with Foxing.”
foxing is lovely. My buddy told me that if I like Albatross by Foxing then I’ll probably like this, probably works both ways

I bet this is closer to a 3 than a 4 but I know for sure that in framing is a 5

Sweet! First time I saw Foxing was at a venue called The Basement where them and This Town Needs Guns opened for TWIABP. Probably was ~2015.
I will have seen Smidley twice this year before this Foxing show. The man is amazing live.

I missed these guys when they were touring this album and it's one of my great gig regrets. This looks like so much fun

Are these guys writing? It’s interesting how much they tour vs. how little they write. Not a new thing for bands to do, just figured there’d be more for how relatively unknown they are and how few albums they have

@MoM Just went to setlist.fm and confirmed, they really havn't toured since 2018. Last I had heard they were kinda just done, so was surprised to see they are back at all even if its just for a tour. The band members lifestyles, views are a little non-traditional from interviews I have heard from them.

Really? Damn, I’m out of the loop! I just feel like I’ve seen stuff about their shows often over the past few years, but that must be from before they stopped playing. The internet says I’ve even seen them with Thursday back in 2016, but i can’t even remember!

Yeah, they have played maybe 5 shows total since 2018.
I might be not getting the details right, but I believe their interview for their last album discussed how they lived together in like a commune/group home and shared anarchist type beliefs. I recall it sharing that they didn't believe in money ... which makes it probably difficult for them to reconcile profiting off their art and touring.
Honestly didn't think I would get to see the chance again, so just excited to see them coming around again.

@Tim neat! Thanks for confirming. I recall that interview being one of the most interesting interviews I had ever read. Quite an interesting crew capable of making such incredible music.
