This grows on you. The production is ridiculously raw and Albini is usually one of (if not my absolute) favourite producers but it just doesn't work with Foxy's flamboyance.
Having said that, this is solid and I adore the opening two tracks.

The record is great. The point of this record is to be in complete control. Free from a label and from a producer. also it was done live in running order. All in the same room. for an engineer, it's difficult to get the type of separation you need. All the GoBos in the world won't make it any easier. Because they wanted to one-take everything that didn't allow for overdubs or harmonies. The record is great for what it is - a live recording without a crowd. Stop complaining because it's not like you bought it. They are giving it away.
