I feel like this is probably really well-produced, but I think I hate the production. All of these songs sound better to me on the live album

Band is almost alien like live, so tight.

The breakdown on "Red Miso" is absolutely filthy. New album might be a return of sorts.

The drumming, in particular, might be Matt's best. It's not as colorful as JoM, but I think it has more personality than MoM

still their best. wish they stick to more fusion-y stuff because obviously Matt is insane but there needs to be more groove than what they're putting out recently. and this is coming from a drummer who likes complicated shit.

For a long time I wanted to listen to this band, but didn't because I was a little intimidated. This album is full of tunes, I am glad I finally gave it a shot
