Idk I just want significantly more energy out of a Gibbs project. Like not one banger in the whole tracklist??? Dont get me wrong, beats and production is great, just don't think Freddie is the MC that should've been on there.

should have been a quas album with features, gibbs just wastes his great beats. he is pretty low energy and extra low in lyrical content. the quas song Real Eyes ironically kinda describes that sort of mc.
"Rap about his clothes and fakes ass stories and hoes

No doubt Madlib outclasses Gibbs in every way. At this point I enjoy Gibbs mostly for his nonstop flow and his deep voice. His lyrics are usually terrible lol

bandana was really disappointing.
i think Gibbs has a nice flow and a fun, smug delivery that i enjoy but doesn't really shine in bandana as much as it did here. the beats are also not on par with even the mediocre ones here. Killer Mike ft. is the worst shit i've ever listened to in a while.
really underwhelming, overall.

The lyrics seemed even worse than usual though. Like, I get it dude, cocaine and shit and whatnot. But after listening to the new Billy Woods especially, the lack of variation becomes glaring.
