The Tortoise and the Crow >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
|

you lost major credibility with me rating this 2x higher than Immortal Technique Verm.
|
| |
that comment just made me puke

bazing

how is this average
|
| |
Sorry lambs but the beats here are sweet as hell, madlib is a genius and you know it fella. Usually I
love lyrical rappers but the topics of IT sometimes are annoying, besides the rating for IT is not
very different compared to this ( I rate this with a 4 and IT with a 3,5)
|
| |
he doesnt have topic range and his other stuff is sophomoric by comparison, but i feel like madlib got something really great out of Gibbs on this. The lyrics in shame, knicks, bomb and thuggin are pretty great
|
| |
Usually I dislike gibbs but here has good moments, still he is the reason why this is not a 5
|
| |
"how is this average?" dunno I found this boring. theres a lot of good beats but his raps are
repetetive

listening to this makes me wish madlib just replaced all of freddie gibbs' raps with new lord quas material

Album Rating: 3.5

Album Rating: 3.0
beats were decent but madlib can do much better
maybe he's saving better beats for a better project :3

how can people seriously be critical of this album, i mean i know its not classic material but goddamn its pretty close.
|
| |
it's just really boring man ^_^ i jammed the hell out of it on the day it dropped and singles before hand; but since then not once, ZERO appeal

| |
Album Rating: 4.0
i mean i can understand that to a degree but i blame that on the length because it does get a bit overwhelming at 17 tracks, but the first half alone is worth a 3.5 imho

first half is far superior. good album although it's grown off me a little since the initial spark. still sweet tho
