Yeah that sounds fucked up lol
But anyway, I hope they continue along this path. All the members are way too freakin talented to hold back. I mean that drummer...yikes!

It's like PTH going full ADHD, while binging on meth and crack.

yeah they have a strong sikth influence. Actually the lead single on here (My Green's Neighbour) in some bits sounds like sikth's Behind the Doors. So I guess the masters got influenced too. They also played together on a short UK run invited by Sikth themselves so they know each other.
Amazing live band though. I've seen them five times and they just got better each time. If you dig this one mort you should also check their previous disc, it's more traditional metalcore-ish but it jams

The previous one does have some really unbearable songs though imo

It's more of the same thing and it's outclassed quality-wise by this one, but I discovered these guys back in 2010 when the King was released.. First five songs are all good jams, I like Collateral Pleasure and Tip of the Day, Wayout is the craziest song they've ever done (that's a bold statement) and the fly video is insane so that gets a plus..
..So that leaves Panda vs Koala, which is cool as f**k live (they still do it sometimes), Smell You Later.. and Homemade Chili Beef.. (that family guy intro though) which are arguably the weakest tracks. Cut those two and you still have a 9 track trashy-metalcore disk that rules. This has more variety though and it may be hard to jump from this to the King, agreed

Yeah I got this first then King and I have to agree that it was hard to go from "Are you Kidding Me?" to that but there are some really enjoyable moments. Backdoor Epilogue is so fucking good. I'm stoked for the new album.

Mhmm I went backwards too, as I'd never heard of these guys until this album. The chorus of Jade's Place is soooo ugh

Whaaaat, c'mon Jade's Place is so fun. The video is bonkers also, really shows how crazy they have always been.
The first album though, that is not that good at all aside from a few tracks.

They seems to be getting more technical and frantic sounding with every album so I'm curious to hear what comes next. I hope they don't go overboard

this is the only album by this band i can seem to get into
|

Yeah same. Previous one is cringy and the latest one is boring. This has a bit of both but it is still better lol. Haven't heard it in a while though.

I dunno. The latest one feels really refined. There are so many heavy songs on "A Means". I love "Are you Kidding..." but some of the songs get lost and aren't really memorable.
Love them both though, so no major complaints haha.
