Yeah this is pretty rough.

I didn't mind Love Don't Die until the chorus came in.

I didn't bother with individual songs because I thought they more or less sounded the same...haha
the production actually bothers me the most

I actually liked their first three albums, but this borders on abysmal in most aspects.

I love when people create sputnik accounts just to talk about one album they like because a reviewer gave a bad score
and then they never come back

I remember back in '10 when somebody made an account to bash me for giving Angels and Airwaves a 3, he legitimately lost his shit for like 5 pages until he got banned. Funny thing is that album deserved far less than a 3.
Concerning this album though, I think it was necessary for The Fray to change but they didn't really pull it off that well. Like, OneRepublic changed in 2013 for the better in my opinion, opting for a more upbeat, electronically-driven sound. I feel like The Fray saw those guys and Coldplay and basically everyone else in their genre evolve around them and peer pressure kicked in.
I don't think this is as bad of an album as I did at first, but it's certainly average at best and not on par with what some of their contemporaries are doing.

They've been going downhill since their debut

They've been moving laterally since their debut. This album is the first distinct departure in style.

my favourite incident was when several accounts were made for Sum 41's Murder album, haha

R.I.P good Sum 41 music (mainly their first album).
