Well when I went to see them I worked til 8pm, got home, had a shower and got ready, drove to Brisbane, saw them, bought $200 in merch, got home at 3:30am, slept for 90 minutes and went back to work at 5:30am so a 5 hour drive is the least you can do.

They seem to visit Australia once every two-ish years so I'll be chucking a sickie sometime in 2017.

These guys will actually be playing relatively close to my location, but I'll be in Poland at that time.
Dumb luck I suppose; seeing Ulcerate live would be immense.

Its not post-metal. If you are looking for post-metal with death metal sound, check out Buried Inside - Chronoclast.

they're def influenced by bands like Isis and Neurosis but they're just tech death with sludgy/doom swagger imo
|
| |
strangely the only Ulcerate i was really able to dig was that Destroyers of All album.. the tech can be too much for me.. idk..

the destroyers of all is their most post-metal album, but still a secondary genre
