Motorcycle Emptiness is still one of the best rock songs ever
This one's my second favorite after Holy Bible, with Everything Must Go being a close third after that

Perhaps unsurprisingly, all five of my top Manic albums involve Richey Edwards:
1. Holy Bible
2. Generation Terrorists
3. Everything Must Go
4. Journal for Plague Lovers
5. Gold Against the Soul
But I also have to give a big shoutout to Send Away the Tigers and Futurology, which I see as great late-career records. Plus, every Manics album has at least something to recommend imo

I will say though, I might have to recheck Know Your Enemy based on your appraisal. I remember that being one of my least faves

5. Gold Against the Soul
GAtS it's good the problem is that...it suffers from a crisis identity and some of the songs are sometimes irritable (I can't stand la tristessa durera)

I like the song but it's so strange that they speak British natively yet Motorcycle Emptiness doesn't make any sense lyrically.

Kinda surprised you have this rated so low tbh. I know the record's overlong, but only a few songs constitute as filler imo
