I can agree with your rating if it's completely relative only to Beck's body of work; but in comparison to most other music, it's still a very enjoyable record that has its moments.

Understood. Ironically, I've never really given Sea Change an honest listen. His next 3 records I spun a lot (Guerro, The Information and Modern Guilt). I'll have to give it a listen today.

Listetning to this because of all the Grammy thing and this isn't bad at all. I'm not sure about my rating but it won't be less than a 3,5. I've yet to hear Sea Cahnge though.

This isn't a bad record by any standard and he was competing against a handful of top 40 artists who probably split the vote up for him to win.

Blue Moon is a nice song. This is pretty different from what he was doing on albums like Mellow Gold, the only other album of his I've really heard anything from.
