this isn't even st. vincent's best album

cool album.. i kind of prefer her style on strange mercy though. this album is a lot more up-tempo/bouncy/ostentatious wheres i think she's at her best with the slow, swooning style ballads where the avant-garde elements are a little more subtle. give me a few more songs like "i prefer your love" and i'd be all fucking over this.

still, solid stuff and quite catchy. maybe it'll grow on me.
