That track is so good. I love Dark Sun a lot. I like the overall improvement in the vocal department, especially the cleans.

After more listens it became better. My qualm was never the vocals to begin with but more the song structures. Now I don't really have much to nitpick at.

Vol. 1 is just Wheelwalker and Fears from Vol. 2 so no worries. Haven't heard the split though either

I dk, I thought Vol II. had more variety; if it was as long as Glass Cathedrals. Initially the songs on here were too samey but it's only when you familiarize with the little grooves and acoustic harmonies (Shuyin was speaking of) that give each song a different character; where things flow yet still retain originality.

False Idol, Triple Gemini, Dark Sun and Stone Devils are my favorite. Last track is probably my favorite overall.

I can't believe this release slipped by me. I was waiting years for this album. I should have had it on day one!

This is inching closer and closer to my top 5 of the year already. Everytime I go back it gets better.

My only nitpicks are that as fear said it can be a bit samey at times and most songs start the exact same way. Cymbal crash. It helps the songs connect well but I would've preferred some ambient intros to some songs maybe?

Not sure if this hits me as hard as Vol. 2
Wheelwalker and shadows were tasty jams. The instrumentals are more interesting, but I'm not hearing the mellow, sweet
melodies offset by urgency that vol.2 delivered so well. The harsh vocals also seem a little sterile, mixed too low maybe. The
vocal harmonies actually remind me of minus the bear, definitely a plus. Bottom line, there's a lot more going on here and the
composition is tighter, definitely hits as hard or harder.

What in the fuck is up with my comment?

it's great but some of the songs need more things going on in them and the harsh vocals still sound

underdeveloped
