@Boney: Yeah, the whole "separate the art from the artist" thing is a very tricky tightrope to walk, especially when you're so emotionally connected with the artist's work. I think I commented this on the Lingua Ignota thread, but I feel like I have to create cancellation "tiers" or "rungs" to keep myself sane in regards to musicians... like "oh, this person did a shitty thing, but at least it wasn't AS shitty as what this other person did, so I can still listen to them"
If I stopped listening to every artist that made some sort of transgression, I'd be throwing out at least half of my record collection. But there are lines that I feel can never be crossed, such as with Ian Watkins for example
