Apparently I dont know what dream pop is, fair enough. I guess Dev's still the lovable curmudgeon.

That sounds better than dick, right? At least he likes good tunes and can write real good.

I really hate having these little genre arguments, but there is influence of that specific field of

music in this album. It may not necessarily emphasize the sound entirely, but the elements that made

that genre so noticeable and unique are prominently displayed on this LP. Same with trip-hop; I have

trouble calling this album trip-hop, but the review states, it does possess those elements (hence

why I noted that). Chino himself has been a huge fan of that subgenre and he's demonstrated its

influence on his songwriting in the past across all of his projects.

It's similar to Deftones' White Pony having dream pop influences, but still resting within the field

of alternative metal. Having influences doesn't necessarily make the record or group a resident of

that specific genre. It never has. If it did, Led Zeppelin would be called blues and Rush would be

called jazz.

If they are, then so are Black Sabbath. And Nickelback is grunge. :P

Exactly, Comatorium. In my eyes, that's true.

Five, unless you don't count the single for "The Epilogue." The songs work better in LP form, in my opinion. It sounds more cohesive and you can hear the different vibes better.
