finally got to see them headline last night and confirmed what I already suspected, based on their stealing the show from some juggernaut live bands time and time again:
They are nearly unmatched live. I've seen hundreds and hundreds of shows over the years, they are at the fucking pinnacle, even being relatively unfamiliar with their catalog beyond this album and one or two live staples.
Absolutely captivating.

Amazing album. I’ll never forget watching their Speak With The Devil documentary when I bought Crush.Fukk.Create over a decade ago, and there was this scene with them in studio (at least, I think this is where I’d seen it) and Nergal is eating corn flakes before recording to give his voice extra crunch. Cracked me up
