Really great review! This easily the best "romance" movie I've seen in a bit; perhaps because I found a rather personal connection with the main character's sentiments for his ex-wife. I thought the score perfectly complimented the film.

That's a rough one for this kind of movie. It's a crossover of various people's lives. They intersect in some way or another. It's hilarious and heartbreaking sometimes simultaneously. And frogs.

I'm bad at describing movies, but you'll love it. I'm almost positive. John C. Reilly is in it, and it's probably his best role. Tom Cruise is too, and he will blow your mind. It's just an awesome movie. Just because someone mentioned it, I want to watch it again.

"who hasn't heard of Gravity?"

Agreed. Gravity was phenomenal

And on the subject of "Magnolia" just about all of P.T. Anderson's films are worth seeing. Boogie
Nights is my personal fav

EDIT: "The Master" was his first dud. Not worth seeing besides Phoenix's morbid performance

Obviously its emotional, it just feels... cold, I suppose.
