Exactly. Taken on its own I could see this being a 4 but as I said in the review, if you look at the album in the context of what he's recorded since it doesn't hold up.

@Cap: Thanks bro. Dylan's music is obviously very lyric-based and I know you said you're very picky when it comes to lyrics but obviously Dylan's lyrics are fantastic so I'm sure you'll have no trouble getting (back) into his music.

I would actually advise against that due to the album's inconsistency, although the opening three songs would be a great introduction to Dylan so there are worse choices for a starting point.
