this rules almost too hard for my liking.
The lyrics all feel very deliberate to me on this. Even the seemingly vapid ones - her delivery makes it sound like there's a reason for everything she says, even if there isn't.
Warriors is a very interesting track to me; she says, "We're puttin' em in a trance" and it sounds so cheesy at first but then you find your head bobbing for the next, what, 30 seconds. Right as you start to get lost in it, she repeats, "We're puttin' em in a trance," except this time instead of a cheesy warning it sounds like a threat, as if you've now learned what she's capable of. And it just keeps happening, and it's great.
