I remember when Em could craft solid hooks, I miss those days.

I remember when people who listened to rap didn't complain about (or even want) hooks, I miss those days.

Eminem's album MMLP2 isn't one of his best albums ever created. He doesn't show his amazing rap ability in many of the songs.

Eminem's album MMLP2 consists of songs that talk about his past and obstacles in life and how he overcomes them. The song Legacy talks about his story of having a miserable past to having a fabulous future. The song includes "This is my legacy" to show his enemies that he has left a sense of pride.

Overall, I would rate this album a 4.

Depending on your style of music, you might love this album or hate it.

at least Buckethead's not a transphobic/homophobic piece of shit

separate the art from the artist

and is just generally the scum of the earth

very little in his personal life suggests this sentiment

buckethead is awful and has no filter for quality or nuance, agreed.

but em is exalted like no other; all my pale friends love him and think he's the best rap has to offer. and that's just no.

i mean that's nice and all, but that doesn't make him or his music good

Eminem's first two mainstream LPs changed the way I saw the world and felt about music. Those records will always be special for me. The rest of his material isn't close, and many people acknowledge it. Your friends sound dumb, Cyg.

agreed, if they were the people who liked his first 2-3 and acknowledged how bad his later stuff was, then that'd be fine, but no. they thing he's greatest of all time, and still is...
