Unless Rody is just fucking with us one of us is wrong. I drank with him a couple of years ago and picked this album apart with him. He pointed out all the fan guest spots and told me what he was trying to say in a lot of the songs.



The star wars v star trek thing was just a comparison to touring with the metal and core scene. Like he did with hair trigger. How everyone just pledges allegiance to THEIR metal and everything else is inferior.



Where did you hear that the star trek thing was literal?

I read it on a Reddit AMA with the band members.

Regardless, I still like the song. Doesn't matter what it's about.
