I'll agree with "The Glass Prison", but the other one off of disc 1 I really like is "The Great Debate".

actually, believe it or not, those are alternated picked arpeggios and not sweeped. that absolutely blew my mind so I thought I'd share.

Thats impossible. Hold on lemme check my tab... yeah its definitely 3-string sweeped (for the most part) with some alternated picked notes thrown in there.

And everything, off of both discs, owns.

The Great Debate pisses me off sooo much! I mean I know DT just loves to wear their inspirations on their sleeve, but to say they blatantly ripped Tool off is an understatment. but then you have The glass Prison which is just about my overall favorite DT song. Mixed bag, but a damn fine release. The title track could have been skimmed in parts. This Message Edited On 10.14.08

I have this, Octavarium and Systematic Chaos but the one I play the most is Systematic. I don't know why, it sure as heck has a lot of wanking and isn't as good as this. It's probably because "Constant Motion" is my favorite DT song of all time.

Tracks 1-3 are quite the powerful trio, and is what makes the first disc a little better than the second. Title track is still awesome though.

Home's riff is not stolen from 46&2. It's just a very standard tune... As for this album, I like Blind Faith, but that's about it. Too much of those typical

Dream Theater faults.
