Dude you know what crazy. I actually wrote a term paper about Debashish Bhattacharya. I had to compare cross cultural musicians and I chose him and Andrew Winton for obvious reasons. It was very interesting though because I had to pick apart modular steps of the scales they were utilizing and rhythmic patterns they were using and the similarity in the innovation of blues slide and what Bhattacharya is doing go hand in hand in many many different ways. Glad you brought him up as I almost forgot about that.

Vilayat Khan and Nikhil Banerjee equal or even surpass Ravi depending on your taste. They all have different styles. Probably the three most prominent sitar masters.
