@mad - yeah, It's a plan to indirectly convert others into fans. Happy to hear you like it. I saw you also checked out The Egocentrics, they are really cool.

@insomniac Yeah, I'm quickly falling in love with those 10-minute+ stoner jam type albums like Samsara, your album, this and Egocentrics, though I'm not as much a fan of standard stoner rock like Clutch, Eath Rocker didn't do much for me.

Got any recommendations?

@Mad - Earth Rocker is one of the best Clutch records. If that wasn't your stuff, try Truckfighters (a lot of fuzzy stoner), Red Fang, Valis (Dark Matter is awesome and has more psychedelic leanings), Siena Root (classic heavy psych/stoner with Eastern influences). Hopefully these will be closer to your likings.

If you want extended psychedelic stuff, try Tia Carrera (jam rock/doom) or Earthless. Colour Haze are cool and they're highly influential for European bands. Also, Seven That Spells, if you feel like listening to a mix of frantic free jazz/repetitive psychedelic jams. They are fun, but exhaustive at some point.

@insomniac

Thanks man I haven't listened to any of those apart from Colour Haze (who are brilliant) so I'll get on it!

Anyone who likes this record should seriously check their previous album Beyond the Black Sky

That's cool. Of all those bands, Truckfighters and Valis are the easiest to get into (and the catchiest). If you like Truckfighters, watch their Fuzzomentary. It features some insight from a band that still worked part time and have families. It's not your typical documentary, it's coming from a band that doesn't make millions of dollars per gig.

Plus, in Orebro, Sweden (Truckfighters' hometown), there are two other big bands, Graveyard and Witchcraft. There's so much awesomeness coming from a mid-sized town.

Captain, the leads are orgasmic on Beyond the Black Sky, check that one out. The keys on this are also pretty sexy, the atmosphere is so eerie
