STUMBLE BENEATH THE RADAR!

Big holes in each great city!

lol the imagery I get when he does that chorus, I am thinking of some Miyazaki type stuff.

Agreed hard that Plato's Tripartite and Skies might be the two best on this.

THAT DOESN'T CHANGE WHAT THEY DID!

Mist > Drumhead Trial > Clarity > Plato's > Windmills > the rest

Replace Windmills with Skies and I'll agree.

If the lyrics to "A Life Embossed" were more subtle it would be the best song on here.

Well, except for Mist and Drumhead Trial.

I really need to check this soon. I've liked each of their albums quite a bit, especially Fortress and Kezia.

'For their most recent album, rather than writing songs in their musical boundaries, Protest wrote music that they could not play, and then forced themselves to learn how to play it over the last two years. '

I never saw Nirvana doing anything that ambitious did you?

i mean even if you ignore how hilarious that is

by definition im preeeetty sure becoming one of the most influential rock bands of the modern era is a tad bit more ambitious than pretending to push your boundaries as a shitty progressive metalcore band that has never done anything new their entire discography and aren't even a fraction as successful as Nirvana was.

and i really dont give a fuck about nirvana either

I mean what good is even honing your music playing ability if what you're playing still sounds shitty

haha I'm just stirring the pot if you'll pardon the pun. That description is fucking hilariously nonsensical though.

Gonna sell Scurrilous and all my other CDs for like 50 cents or a quarter each. Almost everything I liked pre 2013 I now realize sucks and I don't know how I could have enjoyed something I get absolutely nothing out of now.
