She said recently she can't listen to this anymore because it "feels like a kid".



The naivety of it is what makes it charming to me. She did make it when she was 17 and it shows. She sings about not wanting to leave her safe suburban estate, going to house parties and getting on a plane for the first time. It'll be interesting to see how she's matured on Melodrama.

like yeah it *sounds* good but the charm of this album was that innocence and insecurity and naivety as tuna put it



which has me looking to the new one with tempered expectations since shes a pretty big name now and had a lot of success with this album but we'll see
