Lost Your Name is probably my favorite of this. Good album but comes nowhere close to Separation.

Haven't heard Separation yet but apparently I'm missing out. Didn't really listen to these guys til I got this album.

Couldn't get into it, but still rocking TWTWM. Jammin' it in my car currently. Can't believe this album's been out a couple years now.
Honestly though I wasn't able to give it a fair chance. SO maybe I should do that.

Idk about Separation being a lot better. They're kind of different vibes for me, so I have a hard time comparing them straight up.
It's like two different but really tasty beers

Yeah they're really stylistically different. I've given this at least a dozen listens and it's still boring as hell for the most part, don't jam Separation much but it's kind of a "classic"/gateway album for me

"It's like two different but really tasty beers"
Lol. nice. I can dig that.

the vocal melodies, lyrics, vocal production, and overall production are all way better on separation. the drowning literally everything in reverb hurts this at times. this def shows growth in songwriting and musicianship but separation is easily the better album

the atmosphere is really the best thing this album has going for it
|
| |
i definitely think the guitarists and drummer got better. the first 6 songs are v promising, then Cut Me Open happens and knocks everything off. i stand by my 4.5 tho bc so much nostalgia
